I Accept Me: It's Okay to Be a Work in Progress
You do not need anyone else's acceptance to define you. It is okay to be a work in progress — growth is proof that you are still becoming.
I learned a long time ago that I do not need anyone else's acceptance to define me.
I accept me — and that is the most important acceptance.
You need to accept yourself, too. It is okay to be a work in progress. Growth is not something to hide or apologize for. It is proof that you are still becoming.
There will always be people who do not like or understand you. My mother used to share one of my favorite lessons:
- 25% of people will like you for the right reasons.
- 25% will like you for the wrong reasons.
- 25% will not like you for the wrong reasons.
- 25% will not like you for the right reasons.
That has been part of my human experience. I cannot control how other people see me, but I can decide how I see myself.
Work toward what you want to accomplish. Create your own path toward happiness, purpose, and self-acceptance. You do not have to become someone else to deserve peace, joy, or belonging.
Empowerment Coaching Global creates pathways for people to discover their voices, define themselves, and move forward with purpose.
You are allowed to grow.
You are allowed to change.
You are allowed to accept yourself exactly where you are — even while becoming who you were meant to be.
I pivot. I don't quit.
LIVE. DON'T JUST EXIST.
